Thanks for popping on by taking a read. I recently shared on Facebook and Instagram this cute Faux wrap dress I seen floating around on my newsfeed selling online and I easily replicated my own version.
…and since sharing on Social media, I’ve been receiving ton of comments and inbox request asking me where to find the pattern and what type of Fabric used etc. Rather than replying to each and every person individually (it’s hundreds of comments!!!), I’d rather house all of the details right here for you. Easy!!
Below is the Pattern I used, Fabrics, and Shoes details.
Wrap Dress Pattern I Used
For this particular style pattern I used to create my wrap dress I purchased from Ellie and Mac website. The pattern is called Tres Belle and this design comes in 3 different lengths you can make. Long Maxi Dress (I made the long Maxi Dress version back in 2019 and you can see it posted here), Half Circle Skirt, or Full Circle Skirt (which is what I made for myself, I made the full circle skirt you see me wearing in my pics below). Tres Belle pattern I grabbed it from here.
All I did was finished up my wide flare (faux) wrap dress, I added pockets, neckline, sash, and shoes in Leopard. This was my 2021 Valentines Day Me Made Wardrobe.
My version I made with pockets lined and also a fuller dress which has a beautiful flow to it.
Fabrics I Used
Fabrics I used are both ITY Knit (ITY stands for Interlock Twist Yarn). This is my FAVORITE type of knit to work with. Falls so softly against our skin and flows so elegantly. ITY knit fabric has a very nice strong drape, light to medium weight, and holds it’s shape very well. Makes me feel comfortable. I purchased both my fabrics locally here in GA at Fine Fabrics located in Norcross, however if you’re not in GA and rather shop online? Then I also purchase my fabrics very heavily from Fabric.com site. So you can also grab these same two ITY knit in Red here and for Leopard print here.
