Here.. he..here he!!! This morning Mama’bear whipped up a nice smooth and yummy vegan breakfast. Traditional Ackee’, fried dumplings, and breadfruit. Cooked in Olive oil and a dash of salt, seasoning, and spices. I normally add tomatoes, but ran out and didn’t realize it until I was half-way done cooking it.
My FAVORITE all time dish. It’s funny though because as a kid growing up in Jamaican I used to hate ackee’. Not sure what changed in my life on how I was able to now love this. I really didn’t know what I missing out on. Now I have to eat this religiously at least once a month. I’ve been cooking this for the past 20 years now.
