Hey.. hey.. hey Mama’bear friend! As you may know (or may not know) that I went back in to my field full time. I am back at it again as a Licensed Life & Health Insurance Specialist. Long gone are my online boutique store(s) days (and I’ll update you more about this on a later post regarding what’s the deal with that!?) But I’m so happy and grateful now that I am back full time in my field and building my family business.
I am licensed in GA, FL, TX, MI, OH, SC and I specialize in Final Expense (also known as Burial Insurance) helping Seniors between the age: 50-85 (by avoiding a costly funeral or financial burdens left to their children / loved ones).
I personally have over 15 years of experience within the Healthcare Admin space working as a Insurance Follow-up Representative and as a Healthcare Representative assisting uninsured patients with Disability and state benefits program such as Medicaid & Social Security (and voted top Recruiter in 2017 and Employee of The Month 2019).
Why I Went Back Into My Field
This honestly was a heart driven reason. When my mother passed away two decades ago my brothers and I couldn’t afford to come up with burial funds. My family members (aunts & uncles) all had to deal with it. I vowed to NEVER allow this to happen to others. That is why I became a Licensed (Life & Health) Insurance Agent. To educate, raise awareness, and help protect families, and did you know that there is over 2 million accounts setup on Go Fund Me for funeral / burial? SHAME! That’s a-lot of folks needing funeral assistance and it saddens me. I know this first hand. I too was there once, couldn’t afford it, and had to rely and beg others.
There is just way too much info out here folks are unaware of.
Plus when I used to work full time inside the hospital as a Healthcare Representative helping the uninsured patients with Medicaid, Social Security, & Disability benefits they would often ask me a lot of “insurance” questions. THIS was my “why” and my eye opener to get going within the insurance filed as a licensed representative.
I also conduct weekly educational presentations within the Senior Community about the need for proper final expense programs and explore options Seniors may qualify for.
This life-style afforded me the freedom to now work far less and I earn far more. It’s such a breath of fresh air! Being able to help those that are in need of what I have to offer is truly a blessing and I wouldn’t have it no other way around.
So if you believe you may need a Final Expense policy for yourself, your mom, your dad or a special loved one(s) this girl is here to help! I look forward to helping you put proper protection in place for yourself or loved one(s) break the cycle of poverty, and leave a legacy behind.
My grandmother always said…
“Every family has a person who breaks the chain of poverty… May you be a blessing to your family.” ~Anesta Ward, 1938-1997.
“She’s Got You Covered!”
I’ll still be here updating my blog. Because this is my hobby space where I can share all fun & cute things Mommy & Me. I’ll still be posting my sewing gears, crafting projects, and vegan foodies I cook at home from scratch.
Yay!
